Concept– The Meaning Behind “f-range”

The “f” in f-range stands for “faith.”

When we founded f-range, we wanted to create a place where people connected by trust could enjoy shooting and hunting with confidence and peace of mind.

In Japan, firearm ownership is permitted only to those who meet strict legal requirements, and shooting and hunting remain activities enjoyed by a relatively small community. For that reason, we believe that trust — between shooters, hunters, retailers, and everyone involved in the industry — is especially important.

The name f-range, originating from the idea of “Faith Range,” reflects this philosophy: a place built on trusted relationships, where people can safely enjoy shooting and hunting together.

But our purpose goes beyond simply providing firearms and equipment.

Through shooting events, hunting activities, support for new firearm owners, and ongoing assistance after purchase, we hope to make shooting and hunting more accessible to future generations, without being constrained by the traditional conventions of the industry.

As the number of firearm owners in Japan continues to decline, we also hope that our activities can play a small part in supporting the future of Japan’s shooting and hunting community.

This philosophy has been at the heart of f-range since its founding and continues to guide the way we work with our customers, our community, and our business partners.
